Organic Pest controlling is the recent
trend of practice for pest control in farming.
Pest
control is a hectic job and sometimes
consider as a menace by the farmers. Even
though there are many pest control products
and methods are there to help them, they
can't find a permanent as well as an effective
solution to get rid of the pests. Presently,
Natural pest treatment in farms using organic
pest products has surpassed the usage of
modern chemical pest products that are available
in the market with its effective pest eradicating

Neem oil spray:
It is known that neem oil has the capacity
to control the pest's invasions into the
farms and gardens due to the presence of
its main constituent called Azadirachtin,
which is observed to be resistive to most
of the plant feeding pests. Thus making
of a recipe called neem oil spray is simple
by manual. It is cost effective too. In
preparation of this recipe, you need neem
oil, water and dishwashing soap or detergents.
Steps:
Take 2 to three tablespoons of neem oil
and mix it in half liter of water. Furthermore,
add few pinches of detergent or few ml of
dishwashing liquid to make the mixture soapy
and apt to spraying. Use a spraying nozzle
to spray wide.
Instructions: Spray the neem oil and detergent
mix over the soil to avoid the underground
pests to feed into the crops that grow below
the surface. In addition, spray below the
leaves to stop the leaf feeding insects.
Warning: Do not spurt the neem mixture
over the leaves as it can cause burns when
it is exposed to sunlight.
Fact: It is the heavy and unpleasant smell
of the neem oil which makes the insects
and pests keep away from the plants/crops.
Garlic/pepper spray for insects:
Another efficient pest control recipe after
neem oil spray are the Garlic or pepper
spray. It is also easy to prepare and cost
effective like neem oil. Adoption of this
recipe in farms was observed to be most
stringent against the insects. For the preparation
you need Garlic, Pepper, water, any vegetable
oil and detergent or dishwashing soap.
Steps:
Few Garlic cloves are taken along with some
pepper balls and vegetable oil. Mix and
crush it until the residue mixture in the
form of oil is obtained. Extract the residue
oil leaving the solids. Add about half to
1 liter of water to it in combination with
detergents to get the soapy texture.
Instructions: Spray in places where aphids,
worms, bugs, flies and spider mites is feeding
the crops as it is found that the garlic
and pepper mixture spray is effective at
these insects.
