Stains in skin are commonly occurring disorder caused by factors such as hyper-pigmentation, over exposure to sunrays and possibly due to Callus formation in skin. In case of hyper pigmentation, the skin gets darkened by the surplus generation of melanin, a coloring pigment of skin. Melanin produced by melanocytes spreads erratically by the deficient control of the body at old age. The Ultraviolet rays from the sun responsible to trigger the action of melanocytes makes the pigment stagnated part of skin, dark.
Callus another reason for skin stains is liable as a factor since the repeated abrasion of the skin can cause roughness and on further darkening may occur. Explaining callus in biological terms, it is an accretion of distinguished keratinocytes on the outer layer of the skin that creates colorized dead skin at the final stage.
These factors of skin darkening are quietly observed in various parts of the body that includes knees, elbows and feet. In particular, Elbow stains are seen in common as the elbow part of the body gets the maximum exposure to sunrays than the others. Thus the darkening of skin is worse in this condition and the permanent cure is not made sure. The formation of stains at the elbow affects the skin beauty of the person. Furthermore, it may instill emotional distress. There is also a probability in the occurrence of rashes in the elbow part which supposed to happen due to frequent rubbing using dry cloth material with the intention of keeping clean. Treatment of decolorizing the stains is generally done applying sun-reflecting creams and some skin-whitening lotions. However, the purpose is failed by the inefficiency of products.
The betterment of skin texture is believed to improve using natural skin recipes. One such natural recipe is obtained by crushing dry basil leaves with few ml of Neem oil and some pinches of turmeric powder into a paste. This mixture is applied over the dark skin in the elbow. The paste is left for few minutes and washed off softly using a clean dry cloth. Doing the above procedure daily once can reveal better results.
Another useful natural product for elbow stains will be Mustard Oil. Mustard Oil can be applied once everyday and left for few minutes say 10 minutes. After that the Oil is wiped off cleanly using a cloth and washed with warm water. This can help in improving the skin color at the elbow.
