Red lily leaf beetles control using Neem oil insecticide:

Ornamental plants in the backyard garden are prone to invite a massive group of insects that are destructive in nature. Flowers generally drive insects with their production of sweet dew. Lily varieties in particular are observed with beetle breed attacks. Red lily beetles, a native insect of Europe are widely inspected in the red lily gardens.

It is known that beetles are the toughest insect group to control as far as gardeners are concern because most of the gardeners are unaware about the exact treatment measure. Moreover the lack of identification is often the reason for the serious attack of such beetles. Red lily beetles during its larval stage starts the destruction of lilies and it becomes intensive at the end of its transformation to adult.

These beetles kill the life of the lily plant so rapidly that unless and until an effective treatment using organic insecticide is made sure it is very difficult to save the plants life. In order to restrict the growth of their population in the garden, proper identification is very necessary. Many gardeners often mistake Lady beetle to that of Red lily beetles since Lady beetles also have Red elytra but with Black spots.

Leaves of the plants get damaged by the larvae of beetles and so priority is given to the leaves in particular during identification. Eggs of Red lily beetles should be squashed immediately after detection. When the population of the insect is spread widely in the garden and if the gardeners presume that it is difficult for them to eradicate the entire population, then choosing an Organic treatment will be the only smart and effective solution.

Neem oil insecticide, a purely organic extract obtained from Neem leaves with the exceptional insecticidal constitution of Azadirachtin has the ability to eradicate the larvae of any garden insect. Since it is cheap and natural, it is preferable to use around the home gardens. The method of application is also very simple and user friendly when compared to the application of other chemical insecticides. Spraying of neem oil should be done at regular intervals followed after frequent monitoring of the lily gardens. Unlike Lady beetle this insect is not beneficial and gardeners should be aware of the difference so that they can make sure about the protection of lily plants from the devastation of Red Lily leaf beetles.
