Pill bugs are the only crustaceans that survive on the land throughout its life span, which is about two years approximately. These so called bugs belong to family Armadillidiidae. The average size of the bug ranges from 0.75 -1 inch, and the body is oval shaped with segments. Similar species of this insect family called sow bugs do have the same character with a slight difference in the physical feature. These two insects have a common name called “Woodlice or potato bugs”.
