Tips and advice on making Neem oil tick repellent:

Ticks are pathetic parasites that dependents on the blood of living beings for their survival. The host of these parasites includes cattle, goats, sheep, horses, cats, dogs, and other farm as well as pet animals that are left uncared. The main factor that drives this pest to take into possession over the skin of the mammal will be the improper care. Care means regular monitoring of the animal’s general health condition and advanced remedial measures for any infestations identified earlier. In order to maintain a clean and healthy farm or pet animal, care taking is very essential. Most of the people lack in this basic, and therefore, they end up facing vulnerable consequences out of their despise act.

Ticks are not hectic pests to get rid off. They can be controlled with proper skin maintenance. The conventional protection methods usually consist of the hand pick of the ticks from the animal body followed using synthetic tick shampoos that are available in the market under a brand name. Spending too much for ticks control is a silly thing. Ticks don’t require any kind of tough product to compete with them. Just a basic organic treatment can make them vanish if practiced at regular intervals.

Neem oil, herbal oil extracted from the seeds or leaves of neem tree will serve as a valuable tick opposing product on its application over the animals. The effectiveness of the neem oil was determined by a thorough research study, and it is said to control most of the insect groups competently when compared other natural pesticides. The added advantage of Neem oil will be its non-toxic nature and thus has no side effects on its application either to the human beings or to the animals.

A special tick repellent spray can be homemade using Neem oil for the betterment of the existing skin condition of the animal. Preparation of the distinctive tick repellent spray initially involves collection of ingredients like aloe vera gel or lotion, few ml of liquid soap to make the spray liquid lathered for easy spray, a gallon of water and of course few ml of Pure Neem oil in which the Azadirachtin content ranges over a maximum above 90%.

Procedure involves the mixture of Aloe vera oil and neem oil in certain proportions along with the addition of water and liquid soap for fragrance. Shaking the combination in a handy spray bottle for 5 mins can blend all the four liquid ingredients very well. Finally spray is done at infested areas of the tick, and it is continued to do so once in a week to keep the animal free ticks.
