Protect gardens with organic insecticide at unstable weather conditions:

It is always a challenge for gardeners to manage their garden from pest infestation during unstable weather conditions. Frequent change of weather is sure to have effect over the plant either directly or indirectly which means the plant gets infected by the climatic factors like frost, snow, heavy rain, etc. or by the due to growth of plant fungus and breeding of particular pest in a season. Hot and humid condition with less rainfall will cause drying of leaves and lack of proper care will make the situation worsen. Heavy rainfall can greatly damage the plant and also serve as a breeding of certain pests with stagnation of water near the plant area. Humid condition helps in the intensification process of destructive fungus on the leaves. Vegetables crops and ornamental plants are mainly concerned for protection, since they are cash crops for the hardcore gardeners. Fundamentally proper monitoring and rigorous care should be given by the gardeners to keep their plants safe from such weather effects.

Identification of infection is the foremost step to overcome the infections. Some of the common infections that can be identified with change in weather condition will be curling and stippling of leaves, growth of molds, sometimes yellowing and darkening of leaves if it is a fungal attack. During the inspection of bug in plant area it is very vital to identify debris that is supposed to get collected especially after rainfall because it can serve as procreating place for many insects. Fungal growth has a characteristic of spreading to adjacent plants with the support of heavy winds. Thus even autumn season should be keenly watched out for infestations.

When it comes to preventive or remedial measure for such a crisis in gardens, organic or natural methods can ease the effects rather applying synthetic pesticides. Specification of product like fungicide or insecticide should be considered during the selection of chemical products but in case of organic product the purpose is omitted. Neem oil is an extract from neem leaves, which possess both fungicidal and insecticidal property, and it can also act like an anti-feedant for insects. Spraying of neem oil doesn’t affect the garden at any weather condition. Note: Environmental Protection Agency certified Neem oil can be safe for use.
